Degree project on health related region-specific genetic variation in a Swedish subpopulation

Whole genome sequencing (WGS) is quickly becoming a golden standard in large-scale genetic studies, due to declining costs and improved data quality. WGS projects has been performed in many human populations from different geographical regions, including the SweGen project in Sweden. These projects provide a wealth of information about genetic factors that shape our genome and potentially influence our risk for disease. Here is an offer for a master thesis project meant to further improve on the analyses technology used for a Northern Sweden Population Health Study (NSPHS). Read more in the pdf!
